Rock out on your iPad, with every instrument in a band. No experience required, just the Rock ‘n’ Roll spirit.

GarageBand transforms your iPod into a collection of Touch Instruments and a full-featured recording studio. With Multi-Touch gestures to play pianos, guitars, drums and basses create music with the help to sound like a pro. The instruments sound exactly like their counterparts, but let you do things you could never do on a real instrument.

You can tap out beats from the seat of acoustic and electronic drum kits. Strum chords on acoustic and electric guitars, slap on the electric or upright bass. Tap chords to instantly create keyboard grooves. The performance doesn’t stop there, use the built in microphone and sing your heart-out, or get this, plug in your electric guitar and play through classic amps and stompbox effects.

Record at any time, add special effects, arrange and mix your song with up to eight tracks using instruments, audio and loops. Use the mixer to fine-tune each track’s volume – solo or mute any track, or adjust pan, reverb, and echo. Create a unique sound with over 250 professionally prerecorded loops. Trim and place musical regions exactly where you want them to play.

GarageBand has the new rocker covered as you can learn with this app. Follow the trigger fingerpicking patterns for popular chords. The Smart Keyboard is easy to follow and fun to play. Smart Drums is very cool as you can create you own drum set-up, as you drag drum instruments onto a grid.

Check-out the Sampler and create an instrument from sounds you record, then play them back on the keyboard.

A one man band? That’s right and they will never know!

Download the Rock n’ iPad app and create music anywhere you go!
